Divine Petite

My introduction to herbs started with the home births of both of my sons.  I was amazed at how simply some minor health conditions could be treated with natural products.  But I didn't start making products right away, I had so much (and still do) to learn about the healing nature of herbs.

My oldest son has had eczema since he was a baby. I struggled to find a moisturizer for his skin that would be safe for a child and effective.  During my search I found a recipe for a "Baby butter". I experimented with the recipe until I found  a way to make it that suited my needs.

Sometime later on a day when I was very frustrated with my acne covered face I decided to use the baby butter all over it.  In the next few weeks as I continued to use what I now call Aloe Face & Body Butter and my acne began to clear up and never returned! I was thrilled and decided to share this great body butter with my friends and family, and it just snowballed from there. (I tend to get carried away with things!)

The more research I do in to natural remedies the more I want to know.   I hope the information you find here will ignite the same desire in you.  I am continually creating new products to suit the needs of different skin types and personalities.  Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

On the personal side, when I am not cooking up lotion and lip balm, I read to my kids, teach various fitness classes at Nelon's Nautilus in Oregon City, run a small local cloth diaper service (www.freewebs.com/divinediaperservice), attend church in Canby, and shop at Degrees of Chic (http://www.degreesofchic.com/) owned by my good friend Kate.
